Stunning image – very spiritual and for me represents the constrast between light and dark (or joy and sadness). This tunnel wouldn’t be the Domain underground travelator thing??!!??

Hi David. Yes, well put. Nope, this tunnel is part of the Museum Station system. A quiet and little known extention that comes out on Elizabeth Street :)

Must check the tunnel out :
) The St James and Museum tunnels are quite quiet in the weekends :)Paul Tait

Wow – I love your tunnell shots. Great background. Have you tried using the flash to make the foreground crisper and still managing to keep the “smokey” background. I love this.

Great image Robert, I was immediately attracted to the background colour and the symmetry.

I could float through here most happily for hours on end, Robert. Beautiful!

;) Isn’t it a magic place. Sometimes I go there just to sit. Its a commutor tunnel to the trains, and I’m sure people think i’m a bit mad. They give me a widish birth or pretend to talk on their mobile phones lol.
