I love the dark overtones and that electric blue is amazing! Great capture, Robert.

  • Robert Knapman replied

Thanks Mark. This tunnel comes off Elizabeth st and leads into Museum Station. I pass it almost every day and only really ‘saw’ the amazing blue light show a few weeks ago. Cheers

i used to walk through this tunnel every single day, and you’ve captured it really well, rob :-)

did you use any filter to allow for long exposure?

  • Robert Knapman replied

Hi Paul. Its around the corner from my work and I discovered it one day despite walking past almost dayly. There were no filters used…all hand held…had to keep really still. I have a digital camera – nothing special there. I’m in the market for a camera with the goods. Then lets see what my appretiship can show for its time.

im interested to see what you can do with the ghostly backlit images on the walls of that tunnel.

  • Robert Knapman replied

If that’s a challenge I might be up for it :) Maybe in a coupla weeks…
