This fellow was partying with Lappet-faced and white-backed vultures over some pretty bare bones when a spotted hyaena thought to join the festivities. About half of the conveined vultures arrayed themselves in a very purposeful half circle between the hyaena and the remains, shielding the rest of the vulture party from the marauding hyaena.
