There’s nothing like being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Then one just keeps shooting and shooting. This is the same storm as “Sunset and Rain” but in this sequence, there is lots of real rain, albeit in one spot (a large spot).

    another amazing capture. wow I have never seen this type of phenomenon. It is truly amazing Linda!

  • It happens frequently—in the East one is usually underneath it getting drown, in the West there’s room to be away from it an observe. However, it’s only luck to see it at sunset. These are the “microburst” (not always with rain) that have slammed aircraft into the runway on takeoff and landings.
