Just back from a trip to winter-locked Yellowstone Park (Wyoming, USA). I’m not sure it’s possible to take a bad picture there. I particularly liked this one because each crystal of the hoar frost is distinct. For those who haven’t been to Yellowstone in the winter, the steam from all the thermal features freezes instantly on everything it touches (temps in the -15 to +20 degree F). It’s rare to find an object that isn’t heavily coated, and then it just looks like snow.
