Super humans live among us now.
We don’t realize it.
They are those who we least expect.

The man with the scary eyes in the corner. The one that can’t see. He’s one of the Super humans, for he can hear things at a much greater distance, he can enjoy sounds in a way you and I can never hear. Every rain drop for him can paint a masterful picture in his mind. He can here you talking about him and it drags him down. This great Super Human that can hear and see things in a way we cannot imagine, cannot enjoy it because of the way he is treated. He does not feel like a Super Human. Here’s to you great blind men, you are my super heroes.

The lady in the back of the room, really quiet and always focused on the lips of the instructor rather than her paper like most people. She cannot hear. But she her sight is sharper, she can smell your aftershave from all the way across the hall,a nd she can feel the tiniest grains that we over look. She too is a Super Human. She too can not enjoy it because no one understands her. She is isolated. She can read lip perfectly and knows how to write so even if you didn’t know sign language you two could be best friends. Here’s to you great deaf ladies, you are my super heroes.

The man in the corner, always having a straight face, nods once in a while when someone says something, no one knows his name and no one has heard him speak. This is because he cannot speak. He either has no voice, no tongue, or whatever else, he just can’t speak. People put him aside and think of him as anti-social. Some might spread rumors that he’s emo. But he really has the biggest heart. If people would just get to know him. Here’s to you men of the mute, I salute you.

Super Humans are everywhere. You just don’t notice them. You don’t give them credit. And they therefor do not feel Super. The wonders a confident blind man could do with his excellent hearing! He could create a masterful in music! or he could save your life when you are not paying attention to the road as you cross the street, he can hear that car coming straight for you, he can hear your footsteps, he knows just how far to reach to pull you out of harms way. Just imagine a world where the blind are confident in their Super Natural abilities. The stories a mute man could tell! I bet his jokes would be the best in the world! And his skill with his hands must be equally amazing for he must use them to either write or sign language so he can either be really good at writing or painting/drawing or even both! A world with confident mute men would bring about new forms of art that could rival Claude Monet! The deaf lady could use her Super Natural sense of smell for things like cooking! she could blow your mind away with the best cooking in the entire world! Or she could make things like perfume or cologne with the most excellent fragrances, her sense of feeling would make her perfect for carpentry! imagine a desk so smooth that you could see an unbroken, completely perfect reflection of yourself in the wood when cleaned and polished. And I mean unbroken as in you can’t see even the slightest ripples. The desk would look so professional, it would feel professional to the touch!

You who are blind, deaf, or mute, or otherwise please do not be discouraged! Use your great gifts! The world needs Super Humans like you!
