Full Circle

Make it all your play thing darlin’
this world you trapse through bemused
amused? smiling wicked walking by
those lonely hearts abused
Each and every sunset you awaken to
leaves the sun regretting you
being unleashed as the harsh wind blew

Coldly you smoldered me
openly, open me and peer inside
Apathetic to what you find and left here now to die

Ive run before too darlin’…she cried as I said goodbye
yet with compassion I fled in right time
as her sobs still haunted my mind
….but you’re fine
feelings are for those who feel
love is a theft where there is a heart to steal
nothing about you is real

nothing about you is real…A mask of smiles and tatoos to concealnothing about you is real

In the end I hope realization rushes in
grabs your soul, shaking it,
recreating it
a newfound joy of love making it
But here your charred bridges black
will trap your past, forbidding comeback
and here you will know heartache

here you will see all twisted roads lead back to you
and feel the pain you put me through

When faced with ending a relationship with little true emotional attachment, there is a level of bitterness with no one to direct it at. This is a rant to her-but really to no one at all.

ahhh Stevie, so good to meet you and I like your lead in.. but really…to no one at all..
cause really, bitterness just needs a breath or two, whereby when we choose to feel somthing different, it can be our bridge to the release of compassion.. for ourselves and then for the ‘others’..

  • Thank you (is linagi your name)? The bittness was only provoked in the spirit of reciprocity. This really was a mean spirited woman, when it came down to it. While writing this I realized I wasn’t feeling as angry as I thought I should be. It made the whole write confusing as it unfolded. But, as always, it seemed to calm me and put things in perspective.

Thanks for taking the time! Much love, Steve
