A photo taken with my mobile. It’s dedicated to our vet Joachim who gave us free milk for Obi and helped to get him well again when we found him on the street.
This is so adorably cute! This reminds me of my large German Shepherd Gypsy who would “mother” the stray/ adopted kittens. It used to scare me to death when she would open her mouth and tiny little Coconut kitten would confidently crawl thru without any fear. I like photos like this as it shows that although cats and dogs tend to be presented as enemies, they can in fact be lifelong friends. This image is so beautiful especially with the soft, gentle light. Very well done!
It sounds like Gypsy was a lovely dog. It’s the same with these two. Obi was abandoned on the streets of Guadalajara when he was the size of a coke can. He was probably a bit young to be away from his mother so I think he cuddled up to the dogs as a substitute. He’s often in a bit of a state because one of the dogs has given him a “wash” . I was scared too at first but Obi trusts the dogs completely. Our other cat, Alfie, sometimes comes for a walk with the dogs. I think he sees them as bodyguards. x
