I see
all and nothing
through xeric eyes:
the paradox of bound vision
versus
omnivident mental

Infinity—
their edges blur.
Scratch the surface,
itch into retinae
and reveal

Renescant reverie—
hinterland conclusions that
pinwheel across a paranoid persona,
held hostage ‘mongst mental

Debris—
bound to regret
like I am to this chair.
Picture this:
a starved figure framed by saturnine illumination,
a wan glow that dims with their
sullen, blind spiral to

Nadir—
detritus cascades,
comet-tailed and trailing

Blood.

Xerophthalmia & Abduction

This collection of words is from some time in late 2006, with revisions in the Summer of 2007.

As a vaguely-relevant side-note, xerophthalmia is a medical term for dry-eyes, for those who are curious. I like the sound of the word, for what it’s worth.

Xerophthalmia & Abduction belongs to the following groups:

This is quite interesting – a bit overly abstract for me…not sure I’m Getting it as you may intend it to be understood.

    I particularly liked these lines:

    _that
    pinwheel across a paranoid persona,
    held hostage ‘mongst mental

    Debris—_

Is this something you can unpack so we can see it with you ?

I like the thought that went into this!
