In a small Arctic village like ours, four-wheelers are a primary means of personal transportation. During the summer months, weather can still be cold and unpredictable, so a clear day with 24 hours of sunlight doesn’t often go wasted! This young man rushed past me on his way to pick up his little sister. They spent the next few hours riding around and enjoying the sunshine (they passed me and chatted several times) before finally heading home.
