Line of Sight

A rock and a hard howl settles between the line of sight
a sad place to be when not to be believed
Vinegar pricks to the heart
even though truth spoke

The disbeliever is saddled up riding the past, understandably
even though truth spoke
Elongations from smattered history shortened the ears
The deeds of before the winner, understandably

To speak or not to speak
To howl or not to howl
To accept or not to accept

Tears will not, cannot glue
nil adhesion
feet slip on the slippery slope

Shoulders sag into the resignation
Throat closes on the hoarse
Eyes slur about the haze

an open palm holds the promise of love to champion the wolf

We are a fruit salad of past and present with some days the need for fresh fruit.

Feelings and words fall on to the page
Sometimes they bite back
Sometimes they tug on our sleeve
Sometimes they have a cheeky grin
They stay once a page has found them
Words are faithful to us even in the dark

I have this personal mantra, affectionately called ‘accept and discern’. Have I ever rambled to you about it Doll? :)
A lovely write about the ‘accept and discern’ of life :)

I was reading about a fellow who paints in wine, and needs to reduce it sometimes for deeper color. He once forgot some on the stove and burned it, which deepened the color more. So maybe with tears, boiling them down might increase adhesion and problem solved. :) Not…
I love lemons, as they make all else seem less tart, and maybe even a bitter pill less so.
Either you have me thinking, or that is just what I do… I like that.

A wise poem KS, so much truth in it. Looking forward or back offer are both deceptive and alluring causing you to give up now by living in the past or future, neither of which exist except in thought. A good one for me to read today! :)
