The Flutter-by Covenant
For love that never found wings…
The Flutter-by Covenant belongs to the following groups:
"Poetry and Beautiful Women" , All Out Emotion, Core [C.O.R.E], Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY), Melbourne & Victoria, Midnight Ramblers, The Art of Pain, The Healing Journey, THE SISTERHOOD and Vibration in Art and Verse - VAVoom! The tale is old but new in this season speaking
The arc of truth with today’s blessing
took the form of an immaculate colored breeze
and swallowed the rebel butterfly on the wing
Ruinous it be for a butterfly in full flow of love gloss
to hope for hope in the fault line world
when always to be seen as a reject one winged flutter-by
Offered all and nothing in a nestle devoid of understanding
The new covenant for the ‘broken’ was evoked
A virginal proclamation uncreating the sins of the future
The morphing to remain in a time forgotten in passing years
beating one holy wing for a love that was not lived in
yesterday
today
removed from the tomorrows of man
A living memoriam to flutter for all
that could not
Or will not fly in the full glory of love

I wanted to say something about how sometimes love is not found or received And to acknowledge the fact there was a willingness to love…sometimes even against the odds…XX

ArcadiaTempest replied
Yeh….but we still celebrate that there was an earnest heart that tried…..I so love a trier ….winners get too much of the applause me thinks sometimes….And I wanted to say something about those that just try so hard….even when their heart may be breaking…XX

Unreal writing, that is what you create! It’s always hard for me to express with words what I take from your pieces because you present new and intense feelings for me whenever I explore your work… and with lyrics like to hope for hope in the fault line world ... unreal seems the one suitable description. xoxo
ArcadiaTempest replied
LOL …I am laughing as I have been accused of being unreal in my ideas at different times!!
You make one little tempest here so very humbled by your wonderful words….I have so much respect for what you are able to imbue in your verses so your words here are so appreciated and are taken in to nourish…XX

Phrases and images that evoke an almost visceral response…”beating one holy wing for a love that was not lived in…” that just takes my breath completely away. What a brilliant extended metaphor KarenSue – this spoke to me in some special way. Wonderful verse!
ArcadiaTempest replied
Thank you for your really wonderful response to this verse….I so wanted to celebrate those that may not have soared but they were courageous enough to attempt to love deeply even though it may not of been returned…XXX

“to hope for hope in the fault line world” Indeed, this is ruinous. But necessary. Beautifully written.
