Cranky mum ( A talk with my son)
boundaries with our children need rediscovering and re-adjusting from time to time…...being a parent is wonderful, hard at times , frustrating and also there is so much love…...we wouldn’t have it any other way.
But we need to take care of ourselves….to be able to take care of them..... :)

when i am not with you
i know your boundaries
need a fresh review
i sit outside the picture of us
i look at us from above
i see a mother who loves her son
i see a little boy who needs more fun
pushing at each other
a son and his mother
i am sorry that I’m a cranky mum
that sometimes i don’t listen
there is no joy
when I see your tears
it only adds to my fears
you are the best part of me
i rejoice in having you
i often sneak in your room
to peep at your sleeping face
you’re my boy
life without you
would have no place
tomorrow we will have some fun
cos you’re really my best little mate
love you lots and lots
your sometimes cranky mum X
