I had this posted this one posted a few weeks ago and of course had to delete it … due to insane partner who is now in jail!! I had deleted nearly everything when I suddenly realized that I could save it somewhere else and it became embedded into a draft of an old e-mail at my yahoo address … and so for a touch of that burning tempting desire I bring it back for you Arcadia my dear … something that makes me feel fire and burning desire!! Ahhh … who knows?!?

I am quite fond of leaves trapped in a wind funnel. Watched some today… made me very happy. It’s like a moment frozen it time every time I see it. Beautiful. Powerful. Serene. Wish I could capture it.

Okay….......I just want to scream, scream so loud you could hear me on the other side of the world. I have been angry of late. Pissed off by someone I’ve never even met, how can that be? So if you hear a scream today/tonight, wherever you are, it’s just me. AGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I decided to get over that and move on to something much more important; Toast Spread.
I have only lived in two different countries in my life, the United States and Italy. Here in the U.S. we eat peanut butter, lots of peanut butter, it can be found in almost every household. In Italy, they didn’t have peanut butter, they have a product called Nutella, a hazelnut and cocoa spread that everyone used, (super yummy by the way). Then I hear of Vegamite in Australia. I have never seen it in my life. Sooo.. I’ve been wondering, is this vegamite really good?, can it be found in every houshold in Australia? Do Aussies eat peanut butter or Nutella? What other toast spreads are out there on this planet that I don’t know about? As you can see, I’m quite a toast spread connoisseur, and I am never out of peanut butter. :) SZ

I am an Aussie SZ: and we have all three in my home. Vegemite is not for the faint-hearted, but yeah there are plenty of fans. Use the RB search key and you can find a beautiful child photo of “the vegemite grin” – gorgeous. Nutella I put on pancakes and add strawberries and cream (yum). And peanut butter – well, I like it best on celery, and it is the third ingredient in my favourite fudge sauce: chocolate melted with cream and PB thrown in :)

Can you tell I am a foodie?

Now for a new obsession to take hold (I grew up in a regional Victoria dairy farming area, Warrnambool, and my Grandma and Pa used to give us jam and cream sandwiches). My preferred order: 1. Raspberry jam 2. Strawberry jam 3. Blackberry jam 4. Apricot jam. Must not mock until you’ve tried at least one of the jam and cream delights – sandwiches might sound sacreligious, but they are even better than on scones in my opinion!!!

You gals are making me hungry…...and not to confuse there is vegemite and marmite both are yeast spreads and they are savory not sweet…...and if you weren’t brought up on it then it is something you may have to work at. I am trying to acquire a taste for those fungi creatures called mushrooms…..I keep looking at them in my fridge and then I close the bag and think 2morro…...The texture of them gives me the heebee jeebees…..let alone the taste….

My little one has called vegemite – jama, then jamamite since he could talk. Now he is nearly six and I have to remember to revert to vegemite when talking to others. As for peanut butter – dont get me started. It has to be the real stuff. Just peanuts crushed – left crunchy. Non of this added sugar, salt, oil crap. The best ever is from Neils Yard, in Covent Garden, London. You can watch them make it and buy it straight form the machine. I assume its still there, haven’t been back to old blighty since i moved to oz in 1997. anyway, you said write anything….... see ya….

HOW”S THAT?????

Feeling political at the moment…. If the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights gives you the right of movement within a Nation and the right to leave a Nation, why do you need a Passport ? How come you can not renounce your Nationality and not take on another ? Why do we have to be a citizen of any Nation.
How come politicians can’t pronounce Cant and always think I mean Cunt. I think they are all Insincere. My state rep. had me in court using family law to put a Intervention order on me which prevents me emailing or posting on the net anything about him. so this is not about him it is about the Cant I get from politicians….... what a pack of useless helpers they all are….

how about that for someone who likes a good spread?

I hate when people stare at my bald head on top, and then laugh because I wear a pony-tail. It takes a lot of balls to watch them and know they are making comments. I am all man, but I have always had long hair, I am older now, so the top is gone but I have plenty of hair on my sides. Yes, time has taken it’s share, but I love who I am and have no need to back off.

My mother would smear vegemite on a beef or lamb roast not real thick but enough. then bake it. It gave a really tangy taste to the roast meat. She would also use the juice to make the gravy
