This is the first self-portrait I ever attempted of my wife and I. It got a little goofy, we really don’t look like this. But it was fun.
The little painting within the painting is one of my wife’s paintings of rural roads in Missouri and Kansas. This is a house at dawn on a back farm road going to Ft. Scott Kansas.

I was wanting to paint a new avatar and Marie has been on my back to do a painting of us. I finally gave it a try. I will have to look at it a while to decide on the avatar, a little too busy. I thought it would make a fun poster. We are country born and bred and this is a humorous way of seeing ourselves as artist. Hippieness is a state of mind :-0.
