Perfect Matt, great colors and comp mate. Can I ask which wide lens this is? I’m in the market.

  • Matthew Stewart replied

It is the Sigma 10-20mm. Cheers.

Wonderful colours but I really hope you got rid of the messy foreground by putting a longer lens on and pointing it at those dead trees poking up out of the fog with the mountain beside & behind. There’s a million dollar shot there somewhere!

Ah yes, that I did, I have a few up on my Flickr account ;) http://www.flickr.com/photos/aramisfirefly/

WOWZ, fantastic shot, excellent composition and the colors are outstanding! Though I don’t like most HDR images this one truly interests me. The reflection, the clouds, the foreground lighting, everything seems to be very perfect! Instant favorite.
