Fingers (Brisbane, Queensland)
Taken from my front lawn (well till Wednesday when we move) in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, Australia – this was the third massive storm in 3 days that has broken rainfall records in Brisbane for the most rainfall in November since 1981.
The media claims it is the worst flooding since the infamous 1974 Brisbane flood – en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1974_Brisbane_flood
Once the storm passed I headed out from my safe haven on the front deck to find this amazing cloud spewing out lightning.
I was out shooting a spot in the area when I saw the storm coming in the distance, so I waited and got a few shots and then rain came. I managed to get past McDs on Wynnum Road into the industrial area to put the full beam on to see where I was headed. Just as I passed Cannon Hill station the hail started and I got in the garage just as it hammered down.
I must thank the neighbours for the light trails.

Great photo!! And lucky timing, to get the car under protection in time!
This might easily fit in After Dark,
