About Me

Located in Brisbane, I’ve been shooting on and off for about 5 years.

I’ve always had a passion for taking photographs ever since I was young. I’ve now put through 30000 clicks on my Canon 400D and find myself out and about shooting most weekends – and even during the week.

I enjoy many forms of shooting particularly the light of sunrise and sunset for Landscape Photography, the rich midday sun for Infrared Photography and overlooked desolate alleyways and architecture for Urban Photography.

I’m beginning to branch into portraiture. I never thought I’d enjoy taking photos of people so much, but I just love capturing emotions and human interactions.

You will find quite a bit of Infrared Photography in my folio from a while ago now. I find by using Infrared techniques, I’m able to capture scenery from a different perspective to normal light photography and even provide a fresh view to black and white photography. It’s something I need to get back into soon.

I find now that I spend most of his spare time photographing South East Queensland’s beautiful, often overlooked landscapes and its vibrant and sometimes hidden urban environment. To achieve the colours presented in some of my images, I employ HDR (Hyper Dynamic Range) techniques, blending several exposures together.

I also visited South East Asia in June last year photographing the incredible landscapes, cultures and friendly people that inhabit these countries.
