experimentall work on a heat press…i love experementing, this took hours of very quick slaps under the heat press, closing and lifting the lid as quickly as i could, the paper would burn but only in the areas i allowed contact.. hard to show detail in the photograph..

Has it something to dot with “encaustic peainting”?
In hat case I beleive it is use heat, but the medium is coloured wax.. the results are amazing..
Really interesting your work… can you paint with it.. I mean to do some abstract or even figurative?...

this was just the heat pree and “tracing paper” which has an ellent of wax in it..so i recon thats why the effect was acheived..the white bubbles at a lower temp than the scorch marks..took ages..

wow I love this idea. was this a photograph that you heated and how did you stop it sticking to the press?
Anthony Mancuso, about 1 month ago
interesting abstract work, well done
aRae in reply to mogodbeer’s comment, about 1 month ago
Hi, no its tarceing paper…the white bubbles were on a very low setting..the darker marks on the highest setting..and the lid on the heat press held down for longer…grease proff paper was under and on top to avoid sticking….you can put most things inbertween greese proof paper to avoid sticking..i luv to experiment…
