There use to be a program back in NZ I use to watch as a kid called Sapphire and Steel; it scared the life out of me. It was about a couple that traveled through time, to dimensions where the fabric of space was deteriorating and all types of bizarre occurrences where turning peoples mind to mush. Mine included, and I was just a kid.
I don’t remember much in terms of individual plots, just the menacing aura of worlds where everything behaved in ways that were wrong. Time stood still, sound died, and children’s voices were often heard carrying on a stillness that would make your bones turn to ice. This photo reminds me of that. A vague sense of something threatening, descending, a waiting of something, and a waiting of that something for what.
They later changed the program to late night television for adults but only after it had done a lot of us youngsters some serious psychological damage.
park, light, waiting, toys, playgrounds

Sounded interesting. I looked up it thinking it was a New Zealand show, turns out it’s British. So I lost interest at that point :p But still, it sounds interesting and this is a great image.
