I am getting back into photography after many years in which I used cameras only as a hobby, making slide shows of my adventures. I was a pro at one time, in that I was a photojournalist, both staff and freelance, writing and photographing my stories. Not much of a living, so I got into media relations, kept doing photography on the side, and then eight years ago, I got certified as a scuba diver, started taking photos under water, and got hooked on both the diving and the photography. And of course, I’ve gone all the way over to digital, and I’m as avid shooting in the dry air as in the deep ocean now. I care deeply about our planet, and I hope my images can help others care, too, enough to help it.
