Denver is one of the best places in the US to live. I’m very fortunate to have moved here when I was 13 from southern Texas. While I cherish my southern roots and visit my friends and family frequently, I’m a Colorado gal now. I love hiking, biking, snowboarding and photography. I have been taking photos since I was about 7 years old but didn’t get serious until about 6-7 years ago.
I take photos where ever I go. Whatever catches my eye at the time. I’m active here in the Denver photo community and belong to one the oldest photo groups around. We have monthly competitions and take field trips together. It’s a blast and keeps me challenged.
I sold my first piece about 3 years ago in a local gallery show. Since then I’ve sold many and framed many as gifts for friends, family & coworkers. It’s still strange to actually sell my work, but I really love it and hope that my images make people happy. It’s corny but true. I just wanna spread happiness and joy to whomever I can.
