After chocolate, ice-cream is my weakness…..besides velvet. This was a joy to attempt, though I must admit it was a quick study taking 3 days and I suspect I’ll add more finer detail to it as time goes by to sharpen up that realism. You could say it’s the pilot for future paintings.
Oil on board 10″×12″
Incidentally, if anyone feels like serenading in my comments box….feel free, grab a microphone on your way in (but remember I got there first with the title!)
Here I sit at 2:45 AM looking at your art. Do you realize how hungry I am this late at night but since I am on a diet I can not eat anything and you have to show me this!!!☺☺ Excellent work, love the realistic look and the POV.
Well April, more food! What are we going to do with you. We call this type of ice cream a “Drumstick.” I love them and yours looks good enough to eat. Of course it is 5:00 am and I have drawn all night and so I could eat the acrylic you painted it with.

Oil! Even better. I love the smell of the Linseed and Damar and other mixing products. I could eat that instead of the acrylic. Then I could wash it down with acrylic ink.
Who said I would eat fruit. . . They are a dirty liar :).
