*People asked me when I was going to paint a Mars Bar, so here it is. Most popular with many for being the bar that helps you work, rest and play. This one was less about the wrapper and more about the beautiful thick gloops of chocolate on top. *

Mmmm! yummy! Unfortunately a distant memory for me though, because… a moment on the lips…a lifetime on the hips! Beautifully painted, April, right down to the reflected light on the side of the bar. Great!

  • Thanks Ann….yes. I know all about that moment on the lips theory but usually ignore it anyway! Glad you like it.

Lovely April. I love Mars bars because it was the only American candy bar I could get in Italy when I was eleven; and, besides stink bombs for movie class and Italian class, Mars bars were king.

  • Thank you Chris. I think this one will be recognised worldwide ~ the chocolate bar, I mean. :-)

This is my second favourite bar. My absolute favourite is marathon, that was renamed “Snickers” for some strange reason, the marketing people must have been experimenting with something other than chocolate methinks.

Cracking art April, I can just reach out and finish it off for you it’s so real.

  • Thank you Harry! I value your comments on my work :-)

Yummy looking! Great work again April :)

  • Thanks Bryan…this one just painted itself in record time. I am sure the same has happened to you too, some just don’t want to be painted at all either.

Yes! Some have to have a fist shaken at them and a few choice words spoken before allowing themselves to appear :)

  • …I’ve a mint aero that refuses to give into the end of my paintbrush. And the kitkat didn’t even make the audition!!

Fantastic just looks like a photograph.I used to work in a biscuit factory that did chocolate biscuits and you do have moments were you ate loads but at times you were sick of them . You can have to much of a good thing you know LOL

  • I often wondered Lilian. I think I would get so sick of chocolate if I worked in a factory….you know what they say : a LITTLE of what you fancy….does you good. Thank you for your comments
