Mimosa microphylla – Sensitive Briar, Littleleaf Sensitive-briar.
This thumbnail size flower caught my attention while walking around Lake Pickens, Sherman, Texas, USA. The closer I looked at it the more fascinating it became as the pinnate leaves “close” when touched.
