My first daffodil this spring in my north Texas garden.
I was surprised and excited to see this harbinger of spring when I went out one morning. It has been all alone for at least a week showing off its beauty. It seems all the other daffodils were afraid to bloom whilst this one stood there – perhaps in reference to its courage or they are more mature and know that cold nights may lie ahead.

Love the way the daffodil is upside down as though raining with the raindrops from the sky.

  • Thank you, Mui-Ling.

This is gorgeous April, daffodils have always been one of the first symbols of spring for me. I can’t smell or look at them without remembering how exciting it was to see their arrival. Maybe I should think about painting them :-) This is a beautiful capture.

  • Thank you, Constance. I think you should paint them. Thank you for your kind words.
