She had always been unstable and nervy. She doesn’t like to have her fingers all wrinkled by hot water. She doesn’t like it when somebody she doesn’t like touches her, to have the marks of the sheets on her cheek in the morning…. Sycophants and unintelligence bother her, as do people who always say “could of” instead of “could have”. Apathy and ignorance often evoke feelings of anger, and rudeness gets the goat out… She likes writing, watching films, curled up on the sofa, red polka dotty anything. Electro, dancing, gigs, swimming, when the alarm goes off and you realise it’s saturday, sleep, water based fun, red wine and giggles with pretty much anybody in the world who’s nice! Travelling, festivals, gossiping with Helen after her round-the-world escapades. Cornwall, beaches, fields…even the ones full of cow shit… no, especially those ones! Cooking for friends, cherry smoothies,Trips to London, trips… Art, theatre. , pulling a sickie to finish a good book! She likes to empty her handbag clean it thoroughly,and, finally, put everything away carefully.
