I’d spent several hours lurking near the market, discreetly snapping shot after shot. I was ready to call it a day – it was a typical hot, muggy, slightly smelly Manhattan summer afternoon, and I was ready for a shower and a cold drink. But not in that order. And maybe more than just one drink.
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched a beautiful young woman walking through the crowd. She seemed oblivious to the heat, the noise, and the people. She just kep walking away. I had just enough time to pull my camera back out of my bag, and take my last picture of the day.
