I had the great privelege of looking after primates in Cameroon. The first day the two nursing mothers were wary of me and protected their infants. Over time they trusted me and even let me touch their babies. A wonderful experience.
This is one of the mothers. They really craved human interaction. They were thirsy and they handed me an empty cup, which I filled with water. This particular mother loved it when I fed her the water from the cup. The other mother liked to hold out her hand and have me pour the water into it.
