True Love by ApeArt
A mother chimpanzee lovingly cradles her little baby. I had the great privelege of looking after primates in Cameroon. The first day the two nursing mothers were wary of me and protected their infants. Over time they trusted me and even let me touch their babies. A wonderful experience.

The babies arm being so like a human babies arm when they are so relaxed as if nearly asleep. The comparison between baby and parent in any species is always an amazing sight. When one views a human baby one thinks : Wow, that baby is gonna be an adult one day !! The size of faces, the size of hands and in this photo – the size of ARMS !!! Such a caring expression captured.

P.S. Just noticed the TRIANGLE between mum’s face (clear of her big hand),
her big hand and baby’s small hand – a perfect section of a perfect shot :D
