It seems to have worked as has this fantastic photo. Capturing a story and expressions with such clarity and split second timing. Another saying is:
One knows when a shot is exceptional when the naive viewer says :
That shot looks easy ! – Come back to me with a copy of this shot and we’ll got from there :o) Lighting on Mum’s head is awesome from her eyes to the open mouth to the shadows – just PERFECTION. The background gets an honourable mention too with its slanting trunk and greenery.
