I wish we could pass a law protecting these precious beings and others like them making it punishable by the same standards as crimes against humans. I believe crimes against them is the same as crimes against humanity.

Excellent portait. You captured his expression so well. You are a very talented photographer. I too visited the Gorillas, in dense bushland in a dark valley of Uganda and I didn’t manage to come away with anything remotely like this. I am in awe. Really well done.

What an absolutely beautiful experience. Unforgettable I bet. My long lasting memory is of the baby munching on leaves as he curiously watched us, hanging from a branch with one arm, tipping his head upside down, swinging and munching, aaaaaaaaaaah. Really well done and thanks for sharing such a touching (scuse the pun!) encounter.
