Peeping Tams
We visited Apenheul primate park in Holland. It’s a wonderful place – these golden lion tamarinds were all around us, free to jump amongst the trees. Amazing!
Taken with Nikon D50.

They look like Waldorf and Statler – the two old men from Sesame Street that used to be in the balcony and heckling the other muppets on stage.
Seriously, great candid of expressions and cool framing and cool exp.
Great ensemble.
ApeArt replied
Yes I know who you mean! Thanks very much Paul, I took ages trying to get this, they move so darn quickly! :)

The skill of the photographer is giving the illusion that they ‘sat in that pose all day’ – but you know and I know from experience – that they DONT :o)
Really cool shot – must say that again :o) If someone thought that this shot was ‘easy to achieve’ – the invitation is there for them to try to emulate this shot.

Bless you Paul :)

I simply love callitrichids and these Golden-headed Lion Tamarins are no exception. Great capture especially considering their ‘twitchy’ behaviour. Fantastic work. More please :)
ApeArt replied
Hello Mr Banana. thanks for your comments. Yes I love them but find them so hard to photograph. Look out for my next pic of them, Red.
