This is me a couple of weeks ago in Cameroon. I was working at the Limbe Wildlife Centre, looking after rescued primates. Most had been rescued from the illegal bushmeat and pet trade. I fulfilled one of my long-held dreams: to hold and play with chimpanzees

i wish!!!! i once had an experience with a chimpanzee who was very very young,its mother had died and was placed in the zoo which was very well kept in pakistan.i spent over an hour with her and all she wanted to do was play with the mole on my hand,she was so curious,gentle and very loving.it was so overwhelming for me all i could do was cry!!! i actually adopted her. i payed the guard to spend time with her and it was money well spent.ms fossey is one of my all time heros…:)

yes i can understand you crying. Next year I am looking after elephants in Thailand and may also look after chimps again too :)
