I am a self learned photographer living on the eastern ends of Melbourne (Australia) near the foot hills of Dandenong Ranges. Having born in Sri Lanka I spent good 26 years cherishing the forests, geography, flora, fauna, the people and the great culture of that tropical paradise before coming to Melbourne to further my career. My background is in Engineering (Telecommunications) and photography always remained an art / hobby to me.
I never had any formal education in photography and I always consider photography as a work of art than as an outcome of a theory.
What you will find in my gallery is a collection of photos I shot mainly in Australia, a country that fascinated me by its vastness, openness and by its people. It also carries some photos I shot in and around Melbourne that shows the sophistication of this beautiful Victorian city.
