invisible ink

control
the fire
and it becomes
a star
*

tied into an organization
locked up without habeus corpus
who chooses who’s who
and who’s not?
unemployed
we see the collapse
the battle lines
valueless currency
printed with invisible ink
*

they’re dead
they don’t count
at all
why
isn’t asked
of a pile of bones
taller and surer than the tower of Babel
*

if we voted on every issue…
but that’s unimaginable
who cares now?
this earth
this bloodbath
who cares?
*

I stand ready
to be erased
how else can you face
yourself in public?
*

I am not here
for me
it never made sense
nor for you
all together neither
*

how many worlds there are in a world!
how many lights that stand up
and talk!
show me what you have done
with the darkness
tell me about your moon flowers
the pale opals
the guardians guarding your garden
*

they were left to burn to death in their cells
no one came to their aid
their remains disintegrate in your hands
*

the sun isn’t up yet
better go have a cup of darkness
while it lasts
*
