black snow

I wonder how much of the sun has already been used?
manditory optimism
as usual
willful ignorance
maintained by a pinhead lobby
of invisible deities
they are busy being happily wounded together
how did you know I would ask that?
propinquity breeds objectivity
where did you go since you first got here?
the sun is over the roof
but you wouldn’t know it
by the foot prints filling up steadily with black snow

Fantastic poem. Really cutting even though short. It sent a shiver down my spine when I read the last line. “propinquity breeds objectivity” – sounds very ironic. Powerful, dark, awesome write. One of my favourites of yours (however hard it is to pick!)

Propinquity is to objectivity what destination is to subjectivity. If I go to school to learn… it won’t get there by osmosis, I digress… but this is the objective observation and is subject to our application. Just because I’m at school (propinquity/proximity) doesn’t mean it just happens that I learn without taking the time to do something about the resources there… about as objective as I’ll get here. LOL I liked this one a lot Anthony… to thinking and the results we might bring (even if it comes by way of black snow).

Very profound segment Anthony. Let me know as soon as the whole thing is published or sooner.
You demonstrate unusual command of language with vision.
