Great repetition here, Anthony….tho’ I get what you mean about standardization. Hate that aspect of some ’burbs in the west!
It is a given in a culture of mass markets. I miss France… I spent time studying mezzotint engraving there… fell in love with the old villages and cobbled streets in the old sections of towns.
This is really wonderful!! So crazy…identical little house after identical little house…but it sure does make for a great image! (Are those actually little houses? Or apartments? They’re so close together and so tiny!)
haha~ no they are little huts used to hawk crafts during tourist season in Roche Harbor on San Juan Island, Wa. but they are made to resemble tiny munchkin houses!

oh mannnn!! that is a stunner. the repetition on the angle in B/W with the dark foreground and trees in silohoutte . . . . such an ominoius effect.
“little boxes on the hillside……..”
