this is a monotype printed with Daniel Smith Organic Black etching ink on Arches Cover printmaking paper from France.I executed this one just after watching a restored version of Metropolis. (thanks KDK!!)
This is great! I love the alternative printing techniques – and early Fritz Lang.
definitely reminds me of Fritz Lang – this has a VERY “Metropolis” feel to it!!
Think I just fell into something blisteringly wonerous.
I have been playing around with mono-prints (figuring out a process) and your wonderful print inspires me to continue….
