This is a traditional mezzotint engraving. A copper plate, hand~rocked, and burnished. It was exhibited in the Los Angeles National Printmaking Exhibition a few yrs back. It is printed on Magnani Pescia Italian printmaking paper, with Daniel Smith Creamy French Black ink.
I made this engraving in one day and one night, beginning early morning and finishing at dawn.
