Shot taken in England

Yes, yes I know, it’s been awhile since I have uploaded any shots on RB and it is nice to know you have missed my work and maybe little old me as well, LOL. I haven’t taken many new photographs for ages and any shots I have taken I am too critical on and too hard on myself to show them off (which isn’t a bad thing really) so in the end I don’t bother. However, this is the latest shot for you to view and comment on if you want to and I hope you like it and thank you so much for dropping by my work and for your constant support, please call back again soon even if it is just to see some of my old tired work. Bless you.

Ok, so Jackie and I were taking a drive out on Father’s Day last week trying to find a field full of Poppies to shoot. We had seen a few growing along the side of motorways and other roads recently and Jackie had told me she had seen a windmill in a field of poppies last year when she went to Norfolk with a friend. So I did some research online and we decided to use father’s day as my day to capture this beautiful white and wonderful windmill in a field of red poppies.

Well it didn’t happen. We drove the 80 plus miles and found the windmill surrounded by houses so not worth shooting in my book and no field of poppies to be seen, anywhere. Anyway to cut a long story short, on the drive out there we came across a motocross event and I managed to shoot this action shot of the guys going over one of the many jumps. Oh yeah, In the end we drove over 200 miles for a non-existent field of poppies. You can’t win them all eh? And Jackie was great company.
