I know there must be some kind of name or term used for ‘Stacked Stones’ but up to now I can’t find one, perhaps you’ll know and tell me? Anyway, I thought I’d try making my own Stacked Stones still life which I am really happy with.
I took the shot after stacking the five stones on top of each other on a beach in St. Ives, Cornwall, England. I used the close-up setting on camera making the stones look huge and more like boulders. I hope you like what I have here and any comments good or otherwise are welcome. Thank you.
I dedicate the shot to my brother Ken, who passed this life over 10 years ago 2 days from his 50th birthday he like creating things like this.
So to Ken with love, I miss you brother and think of you every day.
