Boats once more as a Painting

The tide was out leaving the wonderful colourful boats in St. Ives Harbour. In my original shot on the site I cropped the buildings out as they distracted from the boats but I wanted to leave them in this time as I believe it has added something to the shot. Now I have turned it into a photograph painting, what are your thoughts and comments on it?

Awesome! Boats are high and dry, (adding more interest) colorful, excellent depth; nice technique.

Great composition and colors! I loved your other boat image without the bulidings, but I really do think the buildings in the background add something to it.

At first glance the image looks like it is a pencil sketch with colors added. I love the effect this has as it is finely detailed and colorfully unique! Great job!!
