Mr. Bumble
This is the typical Great British Bumble Bee. I am not too sure whether they look the same around the world but this one is from England.
Mr. Bumble was having a whale of a time busy buzzing about collecting pollen from our Buddleia in the back garden yesterday. They are so hard to shoot as they won’t stay still long enough. I have never really been that close to a bee before and seeing him in macro was a wow for me, he is so cuddly I just want to hug him. Thanks for looking.

Oh wow! I spent ages trying to capture an image like then when I was home in NZ last March (they don’t seem to have bumblebees here in Australia), they are way harder to get than honey bees. I love their fuzzy-wuzzy look – well done!!
