I took this photo longer ago than I care to remember. It’s a photo of Mt Wellington which sits overlooking the city Hobart in Tasmania, Australia covered in snow, I have recently been back to re-shoot it, but to no avail, other houses have appeared around the rear as the land was sold off around the old federation house, and a hedge has grown up in front of her, so now no where near as appealing as the 31 year old original photo. Thank you Kodachrome 64 for not fading. Was taken on a Pentax MX with a pentax 80-200 zoom lens, could probably guess the exposure at f5.6/125 sec and polar filter.
Thanks again Gwenda, it’s been a few years since I’ve seen a good dump of snow up there that has lasted any great period of time, I’m sure you know being a local.
Thanks Hillie, we are getting some great snow at the mo here in Hobart but it still doesn’t equal this 30 y.o. pic, those who don’t believe in global warming need to see this photo, Mt Wellington was like this all winter during my childhood but now is lucky to keep snow for a day and sometimes a week.
I used to develop Kodachrome 8, 16 & 35mm @ Eastman Kodak in Rijswijk, Holland. Those were the days, as were the days of ‘real’ winters, as is apparent above.
Thanks for your comment and question. All OK, but very little photography since 2009. I’ll get back to it, proper, one of these days…

Hey thanks Mieke, glad you like it, it’s an old keeper shot of mine from a long time ago, very rarely see the mountain with this much snow these days.
