I just received a very interesting email.
Angels of Allah has taken out the Peregrine Adventures 2007 photography competiton!
Here’s the blurb I received:
Your image ‘Angels of Allah’ was judged the very best photograph in the competition by our judges – their comment was “This was a unanimous choice and universally regarded as the standout pic in the comp. The photographer has created a very different take on an iconic structure and the result is a dynamically brilliant shot that drew plaudits for technique and creativity. Judges thought the photographer nailed composition, contrast, handled the backlight…we loved this shot.”
I’m totally stoked over this! I think I need to go and drink a few reds.
