Daily dust
A Bishnoi woman, in India’s Great Thar Desert, keeps her environment clean. Her village, located in Rajasthan, is about 30km from the Pakistani border. She uses a broom made from a bundle of straw bound together.
From what I could see, she was doing little more than stirring up dust. But anyhow, it made for a good photo!
Daily dust belongs to the following groups:
Authentic India, Incredible India, The Human Condition and Travel and Adventure Available for sale asGreeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Hey mate! this one slipped past me. Great work, I love that finish on the shot with what looks kind of like a selected white vignette. Excellent work.
Pip Gerard
that’s so funny. I remember driving in the back of a taxi through the countryside of Puttaparthi seeing so many women doing the same thing and thinking exactly the same thing. Shifting dirt was all I saw :)
I love that you captured that… and so very beautifully too.
All your work is brilliant. The stunning India captures make me want to go back to beautiful India. One day I hope to take my son like my Mum took me. A life changing experience all should experience.
