Most of my pictures are grounded in people. I love gaining insight into a persons life, whether this be a conversation, or simply with a smile. I try to produce images that convey what it is like to be that person. This ‘unguarded moment’ is when the best photos are achieved.
I am fortunate enough to be employed in a dynamic, creative environment at Australia’s largest newspaper. I try and constantly push myself for a new ideas. It’s always inspiring to be surrounded with the many talented people at HWT. You can see their work here and here.

National Photographic Portrait Prize 2008
I received some great news this afternoon! / My work Assorted Toppings has been selected as a finalist in the 2008 National Photographic Portrait Prize. / The exhibition will open at the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra, on 20 March, where it will be displayed until 24 May, 2009. It will then subsequently tour to numerous Australian capital cities and regional centres. / This is very exciting …
