Garden of Love

I had a dream sublime
that danced across my mind
I saw giant flowers in a garden tower
above two lovers dancing,

There was sun flower
yellow and gold
Filled with joy amplified
full of stories still untold.

There was a pink rosebud
innocent and pure
Waiting for her time to blossom
under the sensuality of his touch.

Another was a crimson daisy
with petals outreaching
Longing to connect
and nurture through her teaching.

And there was also big purple heart
that opened and radiated life
Speaking of spiritual connection to start
then followed the mind, body & heart

Then there was a beautiful red rose opening
to full bloom under the rain of passion,
the breeze of trust, the sun of love and
the moon of romantic seduction

And the lovers danced through the flowers
eye to eye,
heart to heart,
soul to soul,
They saw each other and they knew…

They had found that elusive thing
a lover who knew the real in them and
could dance to the same heartbeat
until the end of time.

And they glowed and shone and they loved
and all who dared to look
felt warm because they knew,
finally, this dream was real.
