Body of Roses to touch the Heart is my final work in the SoJie 14 work shop and is a translation of the incredibly beautiful painting by Samantha Aplin “Bed of Roses”
Body of Roses to touch the Heart was created on 300 gsm watercolour paper (30cm x 20cm) with ink, acrylic and water colour pencils.
I want to thank Samantha for allowing me to use her magnificent work as the inspiration for my artwork and for her ongoing support and encouragement through this wonderful process. Also thank you Sam for your input into the final title :)
